Givenchy ha anunciado que se separará de su director creativo, Matthew Williams, después de tres años al frente. La salida de Williams será efectiva el 1 de enero de 2024, y su colección final para la marca propiedad de LVMH será la colección previa al otoño de 2024 para hombres y mujeres.
En un comunicado difundido por la casa, Williams dijo: “Liderar la dirección creativa de Givenchy fue, como dije a mi llegada en 2020, el sueño de mi vida”. Y añadió: “Durante los últimos tres años, me he esforzado por perpetuar el legado del Sr. Hubert de Givenchy aportando al mismo tiempo mi propia visión creativa, y me gustaría agradecer sinceramente al estudio, a (el CEO de Givenchy) Renaud de Lesquen y a LVMH por esto. oportunidad increíble”.
